Steps to Success!
The Seniors In Touch (SIT) Family Communications System is fun and rewarding for seniors and their families.
The following is a step-by-step guide for Senior Living communities participating with the SIT System:
- Order your touchscreen
- Complete Senior and Family Administrator worksheet
- Distribute Seniors In Touch introductory brochure
- Upon delivery, plug-in your touchscreen
- Create Senior and Family Administrator demo accounts (5 minutes)
- Identify 5 or 6 “early adopter” seniors and families
- Import completed Seniors and Family Administrators worksheet
- Tea and cookies introductory gathering with early adopters
- Newsletter or promotion with early adopter stories and experiences
- Ice cream social with residents and training session (option to have SIT staff member handle training)
- Use SIT reporting to follow-up with seniors and family members
- Maintenance and ongoing promotion
These steps are a guideline to the first 4 – 6 weeks of introducing Seniors In Touch to facility staff, residents, and family members.
